Dr. Ajit Kumar (L-6326)- page 55, article 6, regarding a state branch of the association entitled to a
grant of two percentage of subscription of lifemembership, is it sufficient Sir?
Dr. Sanjiv Jha-Yes. I had a talk with the treasurer on this that two percent of the branch membership
of the central IAP is too less for the branches. So I request Treasurer Sir to put forward his views
over it.
Dr. Anand Misra- Right now we should start with something that right now we are not giving any
branch share to you.We will be sharing it among all the branches.We do not have much to share.We
are having one corpus amount out of which we can allocate you. So if we distribute in state, district
and city branches it cannot bemore than this allocation.
Dr. Sanjiv Jha- I had a talk with other chair persons too that these 2 percent is too less and I too want
it to rise. Now we have increased the membership fee. Now as we have raised the membership fee
and even if we give 8-10% that becomes a good amount for branches because we knowwhatever the
legal expenses branches incur has to come from the central IAP as well other miscellaneous
