On 3rd March, 2015 the delegation of The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) meets Union Health Minister, Govt of India Shri. Jagat Prakash Nadda ji. The delegation comprised of IAP President Dr. Umasankar Mohanty and IAP General Secretary Dr. Ketan Bhatikar. The delegation explained and requested Honourable Health Minister to form Independent Physiotherapy Council. The delegation explained to have the Physiotherapy professional identity as defined by World Health Organisation along with submission of Memorandum and Supportive documentation. We invited honourable Health Minister to grace 53rd Annual Conference of IAP at Shimla from 20th-22nd March,2015.

We express our sincere thanks to Dr. Jatin Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, Odisha BJP for facilitating appointment with Honourable Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan Ji. We also thank honourable Minister Shri. Dharmendra ji for his great hospitality and his personal call to Union Health Minister Shri. J.P. Nadda ji and expressing his desire to facilitate professional right for Physiotherapists by forming Independent Council.
