Brief History & Demographic Information- Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh (MP) is a state in central India. It is the second largest state of the country in terms of area. Its capital is Bhopal and the largest city is Indore (the cleanest city of India, 4 years in a row, from 2017-2020). Other major cities of MP are Jabalpur, Gwalior, Rewa, Ujjain, Sagar etc. It has 52 districts. The commonly spoken language here is Hindi. 

Demographic Information

The Madhya Pradesh State Branch of IAP came into existence from May 2020.  
Total number of Physiotherapists (approx.) : 7000-8000 (including students). We need to work on database of MP Physios which is already in the pipeline.

Total number of Physiotherapy Colleges : around 32
Total number of Physiotherapy students- approx  70% of total physios
Total number of district branches- 3 we are now in reforming stage.
Number of IAP members in MP- around 700-750
